Hi, I'm Alysa.

I'm a Houston birth doula, childbirth educator, and birth photographer — and after 10 years and more than 130 births, I can tell you with complete certainty: this work chose me just as much as I chose it.

I'm a wife, a mom, and a Fulshear local who is genuinely, deeply invested in the families I serve. The moment you reach out, you're not just a client on my calendar — you're someone I'm going to show up for, advocate for, and think about long after your baby is in your arms.

I started this work because I saw too many women walk out of their births feeling like something had happened to them instead of with them. I wanted to change that. Ten years later, that's still the whole point.

In 2026, I recertified through Doula Unbound, an OB-led program that deepened my clinical understanding of how hospital systems actually work — so I can advocate for you with even more clarity in the room where it matters.

What I actually believe about birth

Birth isn't one-size-fits-all, and it's not mine to decide how yours should go. My job is to make sure you walk in informed, supported, and confident enough to trust yourself — whatever that looks like for your family.

You might be planning a medicated hospital birth. A VBAC. A home birth. A birth you're terrified of and hoping someone can help you get through. I've been there for all of it, and I'll meet you exactly where you are — without an agenda, without judgment, and without flinching.
